sometimes,time in our hands,and inspiration from above,can look a little something like these....Lord You are good.:)

I
lights!lights! bright lights!
dancing to the tune of the night.
songs and voices a mingling of sounds
my senses are drowned
and yet within me
there is a fire
that is rekindled only by You.
You are light,bright light.
and Your voice I hear in my heart
and my soul sings in the night.

ah!sweet solitude
averting my gaze from the chaos yonder
perched myself on this vertical mansion
planted a foot and was lost in wonder
my feathers are unruffled
my soul quieted
and in this moment in time
the performer is the spectator.

stand clear
in the belly of the metal beast
winding it's way down a secret passage
carrying the warrior and the wounded
the familiar and the lost
a mingling of souls standing together
sometimes in a blink,
sometimes in a stand still,a moment in time
of closing
the warning is sent to wake up from reverie
for the board is being set for another journey
lest,one misses a step and lose time that have been gained
doors
that spells the beginning of the battle waged daily
that though it forbodes of the possibility of defeat
and the graffiti looms with hopelessness
though some may seem to be shoved in unwillingly
yet truthfully in the hearts of many
they yearn for the solitude it offers
a chance to examine,the unexamined life
a fraction spent,but eternity gained
and maybe
an unexpected smile,an old familiar song
accompanied by the percussions of coins
bring to memory
that Love is real and Grace is at hand.
